Oldest Building in Vancouver?

Built in 1888. Big Fire the year of Vancouver’s incorporation in 1886.

Perhaps a more challenging and more interesting question is:
What is the oldest building on the site of the existing City of Vancouver?

My thought path on this:

I read this:
Building Vancouver – George Byrnes

Which led me to this guy:
John Atkin

It seems John along with a Vancouver Archivist is running this course in November:
Vancouver Heritage Foundation

Super interested in going and learning about researching buildings with the goal of researching some sort of familiar building as part of a space tour.
